Credits
Credits are a prepaid balance issued by VeloDB Cloud. VeloDB Cloud applies available credits automatically before other deduction channels (including credit cards, cash and marketplaces). Credit balances, expiration dates, and usage are managed at the organization level and can be used across the organization's warehouses.
How to get credits
New user bonus: Every new user receives $300 in credits after the first successful sign-in. These credits are available immediately and can be used across any warehouse in your organization.
POC (Proof of Concept) credits: If you are evaluating VeloDB Cloud for a POC, request additional credits from VeloDB Cloud support. Include your use case and estimated resource requirements.
Activate a credit code
- Log in to the VeloDB Cloud console.
- In the upper-left corner, click the organization name to open the Organization Overview page.
- In the left navigation pane, click Billing.
- On the Billing Overview page, scroll down to the Credits section, click Add Credits.
- Enter the credit code issued by VeloDB Cloud and complete the activation.
After activation, the Credits section shows your current balance and credit totals:

| Total Granted (USD) | Total credits granted to the organization. |
| Used Credits (USD) | Credits consumed by the organization. |
| Expired Credits (USD) | Credits that are no longer available because they expired. |
Review credit history
In the Credits section, use the credit code search field, date range selector, and Status filter to find specific records. The table includes the credit code, balance, value, status, effective time, and expiration time. Times are displayed in UTC.
Click Export to download the filtered credit records for reconciliation or reporting.
