Reboot a cluster

In some cases, such as a cluster exception and a parameter change, you need to reboot a cluster.

To reboot a cluster, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to the VeloDB Cloud console.
  2. In the left navigation pane, under Compute, click Clusters.
  3. On the target cluster card, click Reboot.
  4. In the confirmation dialog, click OK to confirm.

The status changes to Rebooting, then returns to Running when the reboot completes.

Note:

  • Rebooting a cluster typically takes about 3 minutes. You cannot perform other operations on that cluster until the reboot completes.
  • Rebooting may cause business requests to crash or be delayed.
  • VeloDB Cloud continues to meter and charge the cluster during reboot.
