Connect for Import
Before creating an import job, make sure your VeloDB Cloud warehouse can reach the data source. Configure the network path and access rules for the source host and port, or the object storage endpoint.
For a SaaS warehouse importing from a source in a private VPC or VNet, configure Grant VeloDB Cloud Access to Your VPC. For a BYOC warehouse, configure routing, security groups, and firewall rules in your cloud network so the warehouse can reach the source.
See Connect to choose and configure the network path for your deployment. After connectivity is ready, return to Data Integration and follow the guide for your data source.
Keep RDS and Aurora connections available
If you import from Amazon RDS or Aurora through an AWS Network Load Balancer (NLB) with IP targets, keep the target group synchronized with the database endpoint. Failover, maintenance, or scaling can change the endpoint's private IP addresses and leave the NLB pointing to stale targets.
After configuring the NLB and target group, follow Sync RDS and Aurora IP Targets to configure recurring synchronization and verify failover handling.
