What are cookies and similar technologies?

We may also use similar technologies, including local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, scripts, session replay tools, log data, and device or browser identifiers. In this Cookie Policy, we use "cookies" to refer to cookies and these similar technologies.

Certain Sites use Google Analytics and Google tags to help us understand how visitors use the Sites. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages viewed, referral URLs, browser and device information, approximate location derived from IP address, events, and cookie identifiers. Google processes this information on our behalf for analytics and measurement purposes and may process data in accordance with Google's own terms and policies.

Where required by law, we use Google Analytics only after you consent to analytics cookies. We may use Google Consent Mode or similar tools to communicate your consent choices to Google.

Microsoft Clarity and session replay

Certain Sites use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with our Sites, including through analytics, heatmaps, session replay, and related diagnostics. Clarity may collect information such as clicks, scrolls, page views, browser and device information, approximate location, and unique identifiers. Microsoft may process Clarity data on our behalf and may also use data as described in Microsoft's terms and privacy documentation.

Session replay tools are used to understand site usability and diagnose site issues. They are not intended for collecting passwords, payment card details, confidential customer data, or sensitive personal information through public website pages. Do not submit confidential customer data or sensitive personal information through public website forms, documentation assistants, or support features unless VeloDB has expressly approved that channel for the relevant data.

Where required by law, we use Microsoft Clarity only after you consent to analytics or performance cookies, and we may use Clarity consent controls to communicate your choices.

Marketing, advertising, and referral measurement

Some Sites use marketing and advertising technologies, including Google Ads, LinkedIn Insight Tag, HubSpot, Reo.dev, and similar technologies, to measure campaign effectiveness, understand referrals, support lead generation, and improve our communications. These technologies may identify your browser or device over time and across websites or services, depending on the provider and your choices.

Where required by law, we use these technologies only after you consent to marketing cookies. Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing, we provide opt-out choices as described in this Cookie Policy and our Privacy Policy.

When you use forms, support workflows, newsletter subscriptions, chat features, Trust Center request workflows, or documentation AI assistant features, we and our service providers may process the information you submit and related technical information needed to provide the feature, prevent abuse, route requests, and respond to you. If you submit questions or other content to an AI assistant or support feature, that content may be processed by the relevant provider to provide the response and operate the feature.
