Billing

Billing covers everything related to paying for VeloDB Cloud: the deduction channels you can register against your organization, how invoices are generated, and how to top up balances.

Before moving to production, link a credit card or open a cloud-marketplace channel to keep the service running.

VeloDB Cloud collects usage information every minute, bills hourly, and generates hourly and monthly bills for reconciliation and cost analysis.

Warning If your credit-card / cash / voucher balance is exhausted and no cloud-marketplace channel is open, the service stops. Data is retained for 7 days.

Deduction channels

VeloDB Cloud supports four deduction channels: credit card, cloud marketplace, cash, and vouchers.

Credit Card

On the Billing Overview page, click Add on the Credit Card card to register a card.

You cannot remove a card from the Billing Overview page, but you can update it at any time, which keeps the organization on a valid payment method. To remove a card entirely, contact VeloDB Cloud support.

Cash recharge

On the Billing Overview page, click Recharge to transfer funds into your cash balance. Follow the offline-transfer instructions in the dialog; once the transfer lands, VeloDB Cloud credits the balance automatically.

You can review past recharges in the recharge records.

Vouchers

On the Billing Overview page, switch to Vouchers and click Add Voucher to enter a voucher-activation code issued by VeloDB Cloud.

You can also view voucher usage and voucher activation history in the Voucher Management page.

Cloud Marketplace

Subscribing through a cloud provider's marketplace consolidates VeloDB Cloud usage onto your existing cloud bill. Once authorized, VeloDB Cloud automatically deducts subsequent expenses from that cloud account, and other deduction channels (credit card, cash, vouchers) can stay in place as fallbacks.

On the Billing Overview page, click Subscribe (first time) or Change (subsequent) on the Cloud Marketplace card. The drawer that appears lists the supported marketplaces and a Go to Subscribe / Go to Unsubscribe entry for each.
